Formed in Yerevan in 2021, VANAKAN's sound fuses heavy rock, piano-driven melody, and Armenian musical tradition — but their creative process doesn't follow a fixed formula. Rather than chasing a genre or a trend, the band treats music as a reflection of what they see, feel, and live through, in the present and in memory. From their first show at Babylon Theater to scoring theatrical work with Simon Abkarian, VANAKAN has spent five years building a musical language of their own — and Eposner, their most ambitious project yet, is just getting started.
